The ACTS team (Amélioration des Conditions de Travail et de Sécurité / Improvement of working and safety conditions), set up in autumn 1989, is responsible for monitoring the working and safety conditions of laboratory staff.

The ACTS team plays an essential role in training and informing staff about the various risks (chemical, fire, etc.) inherent in a research laboratory. Twice a year, this team organizes a welcome meeting for new arrivals at the laboratory.

The team is made up of 2 prevention officers (Agents de prévention : APs) and representatives of staff and students, and currently comprises 7 members:

Walid AIT-MAMMAR (Ph-D student), Frédéric AVERSENG (Maître de conférences/Lecturer), Jean-Marc KRAFFT (AP, assistant director and Ingénieur de Recherche), Vincent LOSINHO (Laser security referent and Assitant Ingénieur), Sonia M'BAREK (Ingénieure d'Etudes), Céline SAYAG (Maître de conférences/Lecturer), Laetitia VALENTIN (AP and Ingénieure d'études)

Jean-Marc KRAFFT and Laetitia VALENTIN

Prevention and mediation officers carry out their duties in public or private spaces (neighborhoods, commercial and residential premises, transport, etc.), under the responsibility of supervisory staff. They help to establish and maintain social links by providing support and assistance to users. They may also be called upon to take charge of activities linked to the prevention and security of people and spaces, and to conflict management. Lastly, they may be called upon to lead activities and communicate in connection with these activities. They carry out preventive and educational activities in liaison with the laboratory's supervisory bodies.

Mohamed SELMANE (IMPC)

Responsible for the radiation protection of workers exposed to ionizing radiation, Radiation Protection Officers (Personne Compétentes en Radiprotection: PCR) carry a major responsibility on their shoulders. The reform of the training system should enable them to carry out increasingly demanding missions.

Céline SAYAG

The Training Correspondent is responsible for preparing the Unit Training Plan (Plan de Formation d'Unité), working closely with staff and the Unit Director. She is also the point of contact for staff seeking training and for the supervisory authorities.

Aurélien CHERVALIER

The unit's communication correspondent is responsible for organizing guest seminars, PhD-thesis defenses and scientific events, and for publicizing them both internally and at Chemistry UFR (Unité de Formation et Recherche) level.

Aurélien CHERVALIER, Guillaume LAUGEL, Yannick MILLOT, Laurent ANSCIEAU

The premises commission organizes the arrival of new permanent and non-permanent staff at the laboratory to ensure the best possible welcome and rapid integration.

Frédéric AVERSENG, Axel WILSON, Laurent ANSCIEAU, Aurélien CHERVALIER

They manage the laboratory's website and sites specific to the researchers' scientific activities.
